It’s been a minute since I released music under my own name, having spent the past seven years in Brave Machine. Brave Machine in many ways feels like an extension of my old band crewmannumber7. It’s often loud and fast but still has those more polished pop moments. Even had one of my old bandmates involved in the early days.
As I’ve been on that Brave Machine journey though, most of my more personal, stripped down songs have been collecting dust. I never stopped writing those songs, the focus has just been on Brave Machine almost exclusively since 2018. Today though, I’m releasing Only the Good Lord Knows as a first among songs released under my own name Timothy Yordy. I hope you like it. And follow me on whatever music platform you use because in just a few weeks, I’ve got an original Christmas song coming out as well that I think you’re going to love.
Brave Machine isn’t going away either. Lord willing, 2026 will have lots of new music from both Brave Machine and Timothy Yordy.
